all the bright places is her first young adult book, but she wrote other books before.

of what i read she sounds really nice and like a fangirl like all of us.

about the story 

all the bright places is a story about theodore finch and violet markey. violet is a girl that counts down the day she can finally escape this town and hopefully also escape the memories of her sister, which  died in a car accident. theodore struggles with mental illness. they meet on their school's bell tower, both thinking about jumping down and committing suicide. It never was sure who saved who. after violet gave finch a smile he wanted to be partner for a class project to wander indiana.

the boy who wants to die helps the girl to show the reasons to stay alive. but while violets world grows, finch's begins to shrink.

violet markey

home: indiana 

violet markey is a 17 years girl that lived the normal cheerleader high school life until her sister eleanor and her get into a car accident and her sister dies. after the accident she changes and things it's her fault. i think she's blond with green eyes, but i'm not really sure if it's written that she has green eyes but i think she has.

my opinion

 

this book is freaking amazing. i actually cried. it's great written and i'm usually not a person that likes this romantic cheesy books but i liked it.

 i like it how it shows the both sides how finch and how violet feels. it just shows how a guy with depressions, who knows how it is to be sad, shows a girl how to be happy because he don't want anyone feel the same as he does.
